illumiNUS is a night cycling event organized by the science sports committee for science students. It is a platform where students can join together with their friends and cycle the night away to celebrate the end of finals. On 18 May 2018, around 90 participants cycled from east coast park to CBD to marina and back to East Coast Park. The route brought them to scenic places such as the marina bay skyline, with a photo stop at sunrise time at the marina barrage.
IllumiNUS is not an ordinary night cycling event as it brings participants along a food trail around Singapore, with favorite supper spots such as Swee Choon and Macdonalds.
The participants had a good time cycling off the calories that they consumed at the supper spots.
IllumiNUS 2018 would not have been a success without the participants and the help of the safety riders (those wearing orange t-shirts!). They were tasked to ensure the safety of the participants, alongside the sports committee.
